D-Ring Shackle Mount (2-1/2" Shank) For tough jobs and off-road vehicle recovery applications, the CURT D-ring shackle mount is a hardworking extension of your truck. It features a solid steel shank for maximum strength and has a weight capacity rating of 13,000 lbs. straight-line pull (limited to lowest-rated towing component). This makes it the perfect accessory for difficult vehicle recovery and other straight-pull towing applications. The shank also measures 2-1/2" x 2-1/2", allowing this trailer hitch mount to be compatible with larger pickup trucks and any class 5 trailer hitch with a 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" receiver tube. It offers a perfect fit for all CURT Commercial Duty class 5 hitches (5/8" hitch pin & clip sold separately). The D-ring shackle mount features a threaded pin for easy attachment of the shackle, and it is compatible with the CURT vehicle recovery strap #83066. It also comes with a durable, corrosion-resistant carbide powder coat finish, keeping it well protected against the elements, as well as against nicks, scratches and scuffing.
