The 1699 Step Drill Bit will drill holes from 3/16" to 7/8" in 1/16" increments. Thanks to the self-piloting design, you only need a center punch to locate your hole. Made from hardened high-speed steel with a titanium nitride coating and a heavy-duty 3/8" shank. The dual-flute design provide fast, smooth cutting. Works well as a deburring tool too. One unique application where we have found ourselves using these bits is to drill out JK knuckle steering arms to accept JSPEC drag link flip.
