Metco Motorsports MDL2300 Drive Shaft Safety Loop 03-04 Ford/Mercury

Metco's one-piece driveshaft safety loop is custom-designed to fit the floor pan of the 1998-2011 Panther chassis. This includes the Mercury Marauder, Grand Marquis, Crown Victoria, and Town Car.

Like all Metco loops, the ring is made from seamless DOM steel in an oversize dimension (6.5" OD) to accommodate lowered vehicles and aftermarket driveshafts. The loop flanges are laser-cut and CNC-bent from heavy-duty 1/4" steel and the assembly is precision-welded in a fixture. The finished loop is powdercoated black and packaged with installation instructions and high-grade hardware.

This loop installs with no modifications to the vehicle by taking advantage of the front seat mounting holes, which protrude through the floor beneath the car. Appropriate high-grade fasteners are provided, and seat mounting remains secure and unchanged. The CNC-bent flanges of this loop are specifically designed to utilize the contour of the Panther floor pan, requiring only the two pre-existing mounting points to provide extraordinary stability and strength of the loop. No drilling is required, and no modifications are necessary.
