The QM2 stays attached to the vehicle at all times, fastened by a nut and washer. The QM2 mount allows quick install or removal of your threaded LED whip with simply threading together by hand. The matched stainless steel surfaces, when clean, effectively lock together ensuring your whip stays in place.
