When you install an air system in your vehicle it's always a good idea to be sure you have a properly working safety release blow off valve. If you pressure switch malfunctions and compressor don't shut off the safety valve will release air and help prevent damage to compressor and entire air system. Typically you should choose a pressure release safety valve rated for 5-25psi higher than your pressure switch ''off'' set.
