Metco Motorsports Extended Length Aluminum Lower Control Arms GM MCA0013EXT

The Metco Motorsports high performance lower control arms for the 1971-1981 GM Full Size are CNC-machined from 6061-T6511 billet aluminum for unsurpassed strength and precision-fit. The control arms are clear-anodized for long-lasting surface protection. Our control arms are designed to be installed as a direct replacement for the factory control arms, but offer the benefits of the dramatically stronger billet design and Energy Suspension-brand polyurethane bushings. Each bushing has a grease fitting for long term, noise-free service. In most cases, no modifications to the vehicle are required for installation, although compatibility with the factory rear sway bar is unconfirmed.

NOTE:

• The center pins in the control arms are configured for use with the standard 9/16" mounting hardware. In rare instances, it is necessary to enlarge the mounting holes at the chassis and/or the rear axle for installation. Installation instructions are included.
• These control arms are offered in an extended-length configuration for custom applications. The center-to-center distance is 0.75" longer than the stock length. The appropriate extended-length upper control arms (+ 0.50") should also be used with the extended-length lower arms.
