Metco Motorsports MCA0003 Rear Control Arms for 79-98 Ford Mustang

The Metco Motorsports high performance lower control arms for the 1979-1998 Ford Mustang are CNC-machined from 6061-T6511 billet aluminum for unsurpassed strength and precision-fit. The control arms are clear-anodized for long-lasting surface protection.

Our control arms are designed to be installed as a direct replacement for the factory control arms, but offer the benefits of the dramatically stronger billet design and Energy Suspension-brand high-graphite polyurethane bushings. Each bushing has a grease fitting for long term, noise-free service. The arms are machined to accept the factory rear sway bar (or aftermarket equivalent) and require no modifications to the vehicle for installation.

The lower control arm in the Fox body application is a critical component in the car's suspension. Not only does it connect the axle housing to the body of the car, but it supports the vertical load from the weight of the car, and also the lateral loads imparted by the rear sway bar. Our control arms are designed specifically with these requirements in mind, and have been proven in a wide range of applications ranging from street drivers to serious race cars.
