This bolt-on fiberglass, metal-framed hood with fiberglass cloth underside is manufactured using the RTM method (Resin Transfer Mold), which produces a consistent part in both fit and appearance unlike chopped or hand-laid fiberglass hoods that vary from part to part. Although not Concours in appearance for original Shelby's, the RTM process gives a clean factory appearance underneath, rather than a typical aftermarket fiberglass hood. This hood will require additional prep work compared to sheet metal hoods.
