Metra has once again set the industry standard by developing a cost effective option for customers who want ot retain their OEM radio and improve vehicle sound quality when adding amplifier and speakers. the new AX-DSP is the solution you have been waiting for by taking the fixed analog output from OE radios and converts it to multi channel analog output allowing you to easily add aftermarket amps while retaining use of OE radio controls. With our AX-DSP all connections are done behind the radio with our standard T-harness that cuts down installation time down from 16 minutes to 5 minutes. Many are aware of the problems when adding amps to a digital controlled OE system needing to add connections to the output side of your amplifier and install summing devices, processors or separate DSPS and spend hours wiring and in and in most cases trouble shooting. These types of installations can cause issues with chime levels, radio functions like fade, balance, and volume controls. With the AX-DSP you no longer need extras.
