Mid-Section - S-Type BORLA system is a True Dual design. This 3" diameter mid-section / Muffler assembly includes Active Exhaust Valves. The S-Type sound level delivers an aggressive, yet balanced sound with a deep tone without any drone. It features our SwitchFire technology that completely eliminates the turbulent center intersection of a standard X-Pipe, BORLA'S patented SwitchFire design truly blends the combustion pulses from both sides of the engine for improved performance and a custom sound. The system also features Polyphonic Harmonizer technology that utilizes patented units that contain pipes of different diameters and lengths to create multiple exhaust notes that harmonize to deliver a clean, rich, full-bodied sound. This mid-section / muffler assembly fits with either BORLA tail pipes 60727BC black chrome on T-304 stainless steel, 60727CB brawler style black coated T-304 stainless steel, 60727CFBA carbon fiber with black anodized center, or the Original Equipment (O.E.) tail pipes. The system is constructed using T-304 stainless steel, superior to T-400 series knockoffs (such as 409), to give you the absolute best in performance and durability.
