07-09 FJ/03-09 4RUNNER 2.5 VS IR COILOVER KIT W ROUGH COUNTRY 6" 700 ICON Vehicle Dynamics V.S. 2.5 Series coilover shocks are an incredible upgrade for the front end of 2007-2009 Toyota FJ Cruiser/2003-2009 Toyota 4Runner equipped with a 6" lift suspension system. These full length coilovers are specifically designed for use with the Rough Country 6" lift suspension system, but may also be compatible with kits from other manufacturers, and eliminates the top mount spacer commonly paired with the OE coilovers with these types of suspension systems. ICON’s Vehicle-specific valving provides a sport tuned feel on and off-road while lift height adjustability allows the fine tunings of vehicle stance. The larger 2.5” shock body and increased piston area over stock components and application specific length to maximize wheel travel provide improved damping ability and outstanding ride characteristics across varying types of terrain. To better support the weight of additional accessories such as aftermarket front bumpers and winches, these coilovers include ICON engineered coil springs with an increased, 700 lbs/in spring rate, allowing for taller ride heights with increased front end weight.
