Detroit Speed 041653DS Rear Speed Kit 1, 82-04 S10 Speed Kit 1 is a complete rear suspension upgrade for your S10 that delivers better ride quality, improved traction, and a lowered stance - without the need for fabrication. It’s a great option for builders sticking with leaf springs but wanting modern performance and confidence on the road.

ENHANCED TRACTION & CONTROL
The leaf springs in this kit feature a forward bias and work with staggered shocks to help reduce wheel hop and axle wrap. A reverse-eye design is built into the springs to lower the ride height without compromising ride quality or suspension travel - no need for excessive blocks or notching.

DIAL IN YOUR RIDE QUALITY
This kit includes Stocker Star double adjustable shocks, giving you 18 clicks of adjustment for both compression and rebound. Whether you’re cruising or carving corners, you can dial in the ride feel that fits your build.

UP TO 3” OF DROP – NO NOTCH REQUIRED
Get 3” of drop without cutting into the frame. Spring rates are spec’d to keep the truck bed functional while delivering a street-ready stance and great ride quality.
