Metco Motorsports MAP3000 Oversize 3.0" Alternator Pulley 03-04 Mustang Cobra

Our underdrive alternator pulleys are CNC-machined from certified 6061-T6511 billet aluminum and black anodized for long-lasting surface protection. The pulleys are sized to maintain OEM alternator speeds when used in 2003 and 2004 Mustang Cobra applications equipped with our Interchangeable Crank Pulley Kit.

An underdrive alternator pulley is generally recommended when using our +2 lb and larger crank pulley rings. We manufacture a specific underdrive pulley for each of the popular crank pulley ring sizes, as shown in the option list. Please note that these pulleys are sized to maintain OEM alternator speeds, but applications and alternator characteristics may vary, and in the case of aftermarket or custom alternators specific size recommendations should come directly from your alternator supplier.

These alternator pulleys install as a direct replacements for the factory alternator pulley and require no modifications or special tools, but will require longer belts. For reference, our 3.0" pulley adds 0.5" to the required belt length, the 3.20 adds 1.0", the 3.5" adds 1.5", and the 3.70" adds 2.0" to the belt length.

• These alternator pulleys do not fit the Mechman, Nations, or Denso alternators. Our pulleys are intended for the OEM 6G (and similar, ie 3G) alternator used in select Modular Ford applications. These are 8-rib pulleys, unless the 10-rib configuration is selected.
