By replacing the TRD intake tube with the HPS silicone air intake kit, dyno testing shows increased performance output of 9 horsepower and 11.9 lb-ft. of torque. Acceleration is greatly improved over the standard TRD parts. This intake kit retains the use of the TRD air filter housing, minimizing the number of parts to change and keeping the installation simple.
