HPS AN816-6-8 Convert From NPT Pipe Thread To AN Flare

Convert from NPT pipe thread to AN flare. NPT threads are widely used in automotive applications however they are not intended for repeated servicing. HPS AN to NPT Adapter fittings converts your female NPT threaded ports to AN style fitting for easy serviceability. AN style fittings can be installed and removed many times without using any additional sealants or gaskets, whereas barbed fittings and clamped on hoses can be damaged after repeated use. HPS AN to NPT adapters are made from 6061 aluminum and Type II anodized black to provide improved abrasion and corrosion resistance. Side A: AN-6. Side B: 1/2 NPT. Converts existing NPT pipe thread to male 37 degree AN flare for ease of serviceability. 6061 aluminum with Type II black anodizing for excellent corrosion resistance.
