When exhaust gasses travel into the multichambered rear muffler / resonator, they continue uninterrupted and a Helmholtz resonator reduces drone frequences without restricting flow on the open-valve path. With the valves closed, exhaust gasses travel through a sound reduction path via a smaller 2.5” (63.5mm) pipe, reducing volume and allowing the system to act more civilized when needed. Finally the system terminates via oversized 8.23”x4.76” (211x21mm) RS-style oval exhaust tips.
