TeraFlex 4444402 231 Short Shaft Kit for XJ

This Short Shaft kit is engineered to wit'stand the increased torque generated by the extreme reduction of the TeraFlex Low231 4:1 Heavy Duty Transfer Case kit. This kit also eliminates the need to lower the transfer case in most cases by increasing the rear driveshaft length by four inches. It includes a larger output bearing and rear housing. This kit must be used with a CV style (double cardan) driveshaft. Note: Fits XJ Cherokee 231-J transfer cases w/ vacuum disconnect.
